Who We Are and What We Do
Women Veteran Social Justice Network Inc. (WVSJ) is a veteran organization in Atlanta. A non-profit, 5013C, social justice and inclusion organization, WVSJ helps military women and female veterans embrace civilian life and find solutions that suit their needs and circumstances. We provide the specialist support, training, advocacy, and mentorship you need to succeed in a rewarding career and thrive on a personal level.
In addition, we work with groups and leaders affecting policy changes and other support and service organizations to maximize their planning and decision-making effectiveness. We can also offer support and advocacy for veteran benefits and human rights.
Committed to Supporting Women Veterans
The team behind WVSJ is a group of dedicated Atlanta-based women veterans. Since we have extensive professional experience and years of military service, we understand your diverse and unique needs and the challenges you face in everyday life.
For example, we know that women who have served in the forces and want to live healthy, rewarding lives in their local community can face a unique set of challenges. As a veteran organization in Atlanta, we are perfectly placed to provide this support. By offering a program of wellness events and mental health support services, we ensure you have the resources necessary to care for your physical, emotional, and mental health needs.
Mentoring and Coaching
Recognizing that veteran women have a wealth of skills, training, and experience, we offer programs that focus on transforming you into the leader or entrepreneur you deserve to be. Helping you develop digital literacy, we provide virtual learning, senior leadership training and development, and mentoring opportunities. WVSJ empowers you to transition into sustainable C-suite and B-suite level business roles and develop successful and sustainable entrepreneurial opportunities.
Further, we can help you network with your peers. No one understands better what you are going through like someone who has been through the same. Recognizing the importance of shared learning and experiences, we support veteran women in Atlanta to network and grow a community of other like-minded military women.
Advocacy Services
With the number of female veterans increasing, we know how important it is to tap into this incredible and invaluable resource. Therefore, WVSJ provides consulting and external advocacy services, so our veteran women can offer their expertise to help other companies and organizations succeed.
